While waiting for a family photoshoot at Skater’s Cabin, I noticed a couple exchanging vows against the backdrop of Juneau’s breathtaking, fog-draped scenery. The moody, ethereal fog combined with the snow-capped mountains made their intimate ceremony feel like a scene straight out of a fairytale.
When I learned they didn’t have a photographer and were relying on cell phone pictures, I couldn’t let their magical moment pass without offering something special. I’ve worked with their amazing officiant and wedding planner, Melissa McCormick, before and offered the couple a 15-minute mini photo session as a wedding gift. They graciously accepted, and in that short time, I captured over 70 images, delivering them the same day!
It’s moments like these that remind me why I do what I do—because everyone deserves timeless memories of their special day. Congratulations to this wonderful couple! Your love against that dreamy, romantic landscape was truly unforgettable.
