As a boss mom and photographer, I left my traditional career in early 2024 to spend more time with my daughters while they are young and to pursue my passion for photography. This decision has given me the flexibility to balance my family life with my love for capturing life’s beautiful moments. My background includes a BA in Human Development with a focus on Family Studies and a BA in Spanish Language and Cultures. I am also nearing completion of my dual master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling. My experiences not only enrich my photography but also enhance my ability to connect with clients on a deeper level.
My journey includes serving in the United States Peace Corps in the maternal and child health field for two years in the rural highlands of Guatemala, which has further inspired my dedication to family and storytelling through photography and will to give back to others. Being a mom has taught me to appreciate the fleeting moments and the beauty in the everyday chaos. I love to fish, and my husband is teaching me how to hunt; I also snowboard and enjoy camping and hiking. This adventurous spirit makes me the perfect elopement and wedding photographer, as I thrive in the great outdoors and understand the desire to celebrate love in breathtaking locations. No stranger to adrenaline, if you invite me to skydive, rock climb, or go on a helicopter ride, I'll be there before you finish your sentence. I am passionate about helping couples create unforgettable memories that reflect their adventurous love story, capturing every moment with authenticity and joy.
As a DONA-certified Birth Doula since 2017, I have dedicated myself to supporting families during one of the most transformative journeys of their lives—birth. I played a pivotal role in building the foundation of the nation’s first hospital-based volunteer doula program, where I not only assisted parents during their birthing experiences but also onboarded new doulas to enrich the community. Having supported and attended numerous births, I have gained invaluable insights and expertise in this field and am also a placenta encapsulation specialist, helping new parents during their postpartum period. As a proud mother of two premature babies, I emphasize safety first in my newborn sessions, ensuring a comfortable and secure environment while capturing those precious early moments. This background equips me with a deep understanding of the birth process, which is why I am a fantastic birth photographer—able to document this incredible journey with compassion, respect, and genuine care for both the parents and their newborns.

My family’s story began in a restaurant where I met Barrett on the very day he was supposed to move to Alaska. Due to a delay with his COVID test, he missed his ship, and fate brought us together for three wonderful dates in a row before he shared his plans to move.
Shortly after, I followed him to Alaska, and together we’ve built a beautiful life. Now, we have two amazing daughters. Evalynn, our horse-loving, Gabby's Dollhouse enthusiast, and one-year-old Zora, who can groove to any tune and would be content with never leaving a hug!
Our family is rounded out by Cowboy, our lovable 90-pound duck-retrieving fur baby, who brings endless joy and laughter to our home.
We eloped in a micro-wedding style on a beach in Juneau, Alaska on November 11, 2024.
I was raised by my mother and late father in Pierce County, Washington, where my upbringing instilled in me strong values of family, community, and resilience.
