This unforgettable day began high above the ice, flying with Coastal Helicopters to the breathtaking Herbert Glacier. Surrounded by endless white, blue meltwater pools, and towering peaks, they exchanged vows in one of Alaska’s most awe-inspiring places—quiet, intimate, and wildly beautiful.
After the helicopter touched back down, we shifted the energy from remote wilderness to heartfelt nostalgia. Downtown Juneau became the backdrop for the next chapter of their story. We stopped in front of Tracy's King Crab Shack—a playful and personal nod, since the bride’s name is Tracy—and a place that instantly roots their wedding memories in the character of Juneau.
To finish the day, we wandered toward the waterfront, capturing portraits with the cruise ships in the background. Friends and family had traveled with them by sea, and those ships weren’t just scenery—they were part of the story. A reminder that this elopement wasn’t about leaving people behind, but about bringing everyone along in a way that felt true.
From glacier ice to downtown docks, this day was a perfect blend of adventure, personality, and meaning—proof that elopements can be both epic and deeply personal.
