I’m deeply honored to share that I’ve received an Elopement Legend Award for Courtney & Ryan's elopement. This recognition celebrates authentic storytelling, real emotion, and moments that can’t be planned—and to have this day acknowledged alongside so many incredibly talented photographers around the world is truly humbling.

Courtney & Ryan’s elopement earlier this summer was nothing short of an adventure. We started at the cruise docks in Juneau, Alaska right at their port, then headed to Point Louisa for their ceremony tucked into the fireweed with the incredible @lindawendeborn officiating. From there, we took off on a helicopter adventure with @coastal.helicopters to a brand-new elopement location—chosen by coordinates on a map after some serious homework. Ocean views, mountains, a glacial lake, a massive waterfall, mountain goats spotted while we were on the flight in, and a snowball fight where we landed.

I was so honored to be their photographer AND videographer for a day that truly felt once-in-a-lifetime. We wrapped it all up with lunch downtown, still buzzing from the magic.
